Tbh, I never saw it as a problem, as I did not recognize it as a true danger to the game. I don't know a team that bought success by trading dozens of players at the same time.
What bothers me more, are the 95% bogus offers that ask for internet money and are clogging the market right now. Those are more dangerous (cheating, money dumping) and could do more harm (cripple a newbie) than someone doubling his money with 1k profit per auction.
"Ripping off" a newbie for 1k is a trivial offense imo. If you swap your roster each game, you'll see the impact in the fan survey, so maybe the success of this strategy might not be as great as you think it is.
