FT team training was really one of the most fun parts of this game. Now it's not worth playing anymore

I swore I'd never use these words but: Funniest post ever!

The most frustrating thing for me was the need to stop regular training for 1-2 weeks a season in order to increase my atrocious FT trainee to awful, and it took me 3 or 4 FT training sessions. He could have 2 or 3 regular skills more if I didn't need to do that.

FT and stamina trainings are for teams that don't train young players, otherwise they are pain in the ass. Perhaps some see it as tactical choice, but I welcome this change because every team can choose what to do. If you want to stick to the old ways, you can, but you can avoid that now.

And I don't have nearly enough money right now to afford this building, I'm going to need to wait few months in order to purchase it. But I have another atrocious FT trainee right now who won't lose weeks of training for certain.

Most fun part for me is training, and I play with goal to have my own homegrown team. Results are secondary for me. I aim to promote to DI, but really long term. And when you are training constantly, FTs and stamina are really a nuisance.

The way I see it, absolutely the easiest way to win is to buy cheap 32+ years players constantly, while training few prospects to sell later. You could even skip training part, save money on coach and train only FTs/stamina. Most teams in my league are doing something similar. But I find that no challenging at all.

I won't, because I was frustrated before when I needed to switch to FT training. The D1 is not a priority, building my own team is. 12 players I drafted and trained, and that's hard. Right now, I have only 5 'mine' players, so this is really long term planning.

But with the current training, if you get a draftee with FT 7, you're set to never train him in that, but if your luck is like mine, you can get 2 great trainees with FT 1 and then you're screwed. But, not anymore.

And I repeat, the rules are same for everybody. The part of the game I enjoy the least is the market, so this works very well for me.

Most of the teams in my league save money on staff and scouting right now, and because of that they can buy better players then I can. But I still see no great management or challenge in playing that way.

I remember first days of the game (this is my second team) when daytrading was by far the biggest problem and BBs were actively working on solutions to stop it. I don't like the system that reward those with most free time to spend waiting for cheap players. But I still have nothing against it, I simply don't enjoy playing that way and I won't call mediocre managers who build their teams that way.

But it's not so much easier to be broken. And considering you need to invest one million + 15k weekly in order to train FTs at a rate of 3-4 pops per player per season, that's not really 'easy' solution. That's just more option to choose from, and I like it.
