I think we are over-penalized with the current injury system.
It is 1) way too long injuries
2) stamina loss is quite important

If I remember correctly the BB's said that stamina loss was supposed to be around 0.2 per week no?

Well here is what I can establish from my last 2 injuries

Player A:
-from strong to respectable: 4th January
- from respectable to average: 18th January (2 weeks after)
- from average to mediocre : 25th January (1 week after)

And he still has 3 weeks of injury left...

Player B
- from inept to awful: 18th January
- from awful to pitiful: 25th of January (1 week after)

So basically the loss is superior to 0.5 per week.

With injuries of 8-10 weeks you might end up with a player at atrocious level from a strong one! I think this is way too much...

well i now know you dont really need stamina to compete...

my starters are awful 3x inept and 1 mediocre.. main back ups are 2x inept,& awful

I wouldnt worry about it as im sure as BB evolves a newer more refined system will replace what we have...

just please remind me if my normal training is ever to be influenced by stamina levels!!

I too am frustrated with the stamina drops. If a player's stamina would drop so easy if he doesn't play 24 mins in a week, why is it that a player who gets to play say 80 mins doesn't gain stamina??? If one is to get penalized for not playing, others should be rewarded for playing right? It is stupid that I have to constantly focus on training stamina and not other skill areas.

Either way, I think it's time for the BB's to reveal the real reason for this absurd rule.

Apparently you believe in some conspiracy theory?

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

i think bb's should share more here about this matter,

we are already unhappy with the situation of this. at first i was strategic when i place players on the lineup making it possible for better subs.

but on the nail bitter game, imagine your star player with whom you expect to take that 3 pt shot for the win or tie suddenly was subbed because his stamina couldnt hold and you got your sub who is not even his half.

but it truly cruel . . . . we have to be subjective to this, meaning if he lose stamina while in bed due to injury wouldnt it nice to let the player recover on that as he plays.

i think we players dont mind if it takes more time for him to recover to his old form in stamina than compare to the drop in stamina while injury. come on bb's make this game something different than the other managerial games out there!

Conspiracy? Poor choice of word.

Considering your statement:

Either way, I think it's time for the BB's to reveal the real reason for this absurd rule.

That seems to imply that there's some sinister reason for the way stamina is handled.

That's what I was getting at.
