95% of the time, the league leader in steals or blocks are named the Defensive player of the year in the NBA. I just think Nash is over rated. He is probably the worst PG at playing the passing lanes in the history of the NBA.

add that iverson is a bad defender but a good stealer. at the end of the day, defence is more about defending your man, not playing the passing lanes. i would not rate him higher than average anyway.

Stealing is not good thing to adress good and bad defenders....lets say someone deflects pass and other guy pickups ball and he gets steal...also they are often risking when playing passing lanes,so if they dont get the steal they ruin teams defence...
