To be honest nelsonalb, it takes too much time to write predictions and reflections after games. I really enjoy doing the predictions so i'm sticking with those. I like your recap of individual performances so its all on you. :P

Predictions for 12-11-12 games:

Krushers @ Closet Men:
Both teams’ strongest players are perimeter players but the Krushers have a huge advantage there. The Closet Men don’t have a strong enough defense to stop the Krushers while the Krushers defense can and will slow down the Closet Men quite well. Krushers will probably go RnG and Closet Men, oddly enough, choose to play fast paced as well and its going to bury them in this one. Krushers win by 20-25.
Villains @ Ballers:
The Ballers are 0-3 to start the season but before they are discounted it should be pointed out they faced the number 2, 3 and 4 seeded teams in their conference thus far in the season. Tough schedule. The Ballers aren’t championship contenders but they will win some games this season and this next game against the absolute worst team in the league is a MUST WIN for them. Ballers win by 25-30.
Storm @ Shipbuilders:
The Storm just have more talent in this match. I expect the Storm to win in the battle in the post and earn more rebounds and play better defense down there. Also, with Estivill’s level of play this season and in the past in this league I doubt the Shipbuilders can stop him; I suspect he’ll be big in the win. Storm by 15-20.
Hate @ Majestic 12:
Team Hate scores 143 points last game?! That’ll make an impression. Hate like RnG and M12 like motion so expect a fast paced shootout. Neither team prides themselves on defense so im looking for another high point total in this one. I think Hate have the advantage in post players and should control more possessions and the final score. Hate by 20-25.
Tsunami @ Miu:
Tsunami like to play FCP defense which wears out their opponents but also themselves. In this game they have a deeper roster though and I think it will work in their favor. Tsunami will cause turnovers and generate extra possessions to build a lead and when the 2nd strings from each roster get minutes the Tsunami will maintain or expand on their lead due to their depth. Tsunami by 15-20.
Big Dawgs @ Hunterz: What can I say about the Dawgs; I like this team. Good balance of age and youth with talent. They’re a versatile team and I think will be a legitimate contender in a season or two. You’re in my way and more importantly in my #4 seed spot at the moment though so get ready for a loss. :-P The Hunterz won’t hide our game plan; We’re sending our starters out aiming to develop a lead early so they can comfortably ride the bench and retain strength for our upcoming cup match (even if it isn’t a super hard match we want to rest guys as much as possible for it). Sorry Big Dawgs but Hunterz win this one by 15-20.
Bastards @ No Love:
The Rubio injury is going to hurt the Bastards in this one. No Love has a big advantage in the guard spots and still likes to play a LI penetrating offensive game. If No Love puts Kelley on Gabat and Kolar on Grubb defensively I think they could stifle the Bastards offense and should maintain a decent defensive game. Can’t wait to see this same match later in the season when Rubio is back from injury. Should be a good game but I’ll pick No Love to win by 10-15.
Delpra @ E.B.W:
E.B.W is missing Ander Ovando Ferrer during one of the toughest points in their season when they face the top teams in their conference. Nevertheless they play tremendous inside defense. With the injury to Ferrer, Delpra will have a slight advantage outside. It’ll come down to how well they capitalize on that and how effective Ning Hanxian is at scoring over being a ball distributor. Ultimately I think E.B.W’s incredible ID and ability to rebound at numerous positions will win the day. E.B.W by 15-20.

This week Miu & Co upset their opponent causing no predictor to be 100% accurate.
Crazy went 7-8, as did CopyCat (a.k.a. EBW), while Ron went 6-8 on predictions.
Season to Date Totals:
Crazy 21-24 (87.5%) EBW 17-24 (70.8%) Ron: 10-16 (62.5%)

On a side note, I'm curious to see if the standings stay as tight as they currently are. Currently 4 teams in each conference are tied for the 3rd seed in terms of games won/lost leaving the point differential as the determining factor. I hope this continues. It will make for an exciting late season when every team will be scraping for every point trying to fight their way into the playoffs.

Welcome everyone to the gameshow that is studs n duds, we got a wheel of fortune, suitcases with millions, sean connery and the very best in the business your host Nelson!!!

So lets start off breaking the Studs:

At pg the greek god, the one and only Demis Passas , what can we say about this point guard other than his last name in spanish means raisins?? uh? the dude went ballistic, more like balls out, AKA inma strike you in the face with the ball and you wont even notice (my favorite and one player) 64% from the field, 7 rebounds , 4 assists and held the opposing point guard to a measly AKA michael beasley (sorry suns fans) 30% fg

Kwok siu Chong, there is a laugh somewhere in there had a night to remember, the blonde caucasian chinese player?? shot the lights out, al pacino would have been proud, sorry wrong sport, ray allen would be proud!! the dude shot 50% percent from the three land on his way to a total of 26 pts meanwhile forcing his opponent to 30%

Much like the knicks of last year and the heat of this year team hate have been doing their damage by the 3pt line and even though this is bb, the same rules apply whenever a team figures it out (it may take a while ) the 3-2 zone will be waiting but in the mean time lets celebrate their scoring prowess by describing one of the teams pillars, the stellar Behlul Bejleri, the italian reinassance man has been taking heads everywhere he is been, today he happen to shoot 50% and collected 9 rebounds all meanwhile looking really mad about it http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/16628685/overview.aspx

Now to the upset of the day by Miu & Co, but before that not to take anything away from their victory but i m gonna abuse my gameshow host powers and call out seattle tsunami, when you score a combine 25 pts, lower than any of the 1st two quaters it probably means your players got tired of running that crappy collegiate bobcat like defense, but
after all its your choice my man so please continue. Andre Aukes what a game this guy had....

You know, there comes a time in a team's life when their schedule gets easier , you can breathe now orlando. But now that you come away having abused las vegas, lets move on to the actual player. Now this man has an easy name, a sort of name that would imply blue collar, and after all he simply did the job. Yes everybody luca job did a heck of a job, outstanding job out there, what a job. 17 pts 13 rebs, opp. 16%

Other nominees: p. madalena, a. kelley,j. rozyc, r. la serna

The Duds: there is simply not much to say here, they suck, they didn't do a job out there today, and if you see your player as a weekly nominee for one of these every week it probably means he really suckss

at pg- There comes a time in a man's life where he figures out he cannot shoot, not even if he keeps on shooting, another sad night by carroll in where he ends up shooting a27% and 4 turnover

Sg- we have one of the most selfish individuals of the night probably cost his team the victory and even had an altercation with his fellow center after the game telling him to dakg jgkasg himself. Bad, very bad, when you shoot 14 % from the arc, and 9 for 30 overall you should just go sit down, and drink some gatorade or something
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/8218488/overview.aspx

sf- What is there to say about t.miller, about his club vegas, are they alive, are they here, can they hear us, are they playing with us, maybe its all just a big simulator ......

Pf- I knew things were just not going to be right when his wife left him for another man and he lost custody of the children, he is just not prepared to play ball right now, but even knowing that i threw him against the no love tonight, and damn did he get no love http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/13638067/overview.aspx
shot 23% his happily married opponent shot 50%, then they say divorce doesn't suck

c- M wasilak for maine dissapointed in what was a big game for them, they needed the win to stay afloat in what has been a very bad start to the season for the playoff contenders from last season. The man grabbed 7 rebounds and 7 points in 31 minutes meanwhile shooting an unexpectacular 27%

honorees of the crappiness: b.ward, r choplek,a. pereza
