Be very interesting to see who I can get for what.

Starting to get dillusions of having a serious go at winning the cup although I need to put them out of my head and focus on this season.

The really smart thing to do would be not to replace the 3 players until the Allstar week, this would give me an extra 400K in savings and it would give more time for the right players to show up on the market

Reckon Urb might be a bit of overkill for D2? His salary is almost my whole roster.

Yep, possibly a mistake I was hoping to get him for about 300K less.

Surprisingly if I dont replace the 3 players I have up for sale and continue to win in the cup, he wont cost me anything for the next few weeks.

Question will be will I buy anyone else in the next couple of days.

good win by geelong, finally nabbing a close one after a string of unlucky losses

look at the game ratings! incredible output, looks like a really salary efficient team

watch your back sid, you may have more competition than you are accounting for
your conference is very deep with many of the guys including geelong, cunning, mjp and corio bay giants able to do what you did, buy up some rentals to supplement their already deep teams and knock you out before you even get to the finals

anyway, i cant wait for season 24 when that type of rubbish wont work anymore

Its possible that both you and I might have cut our collective throats buying up too early.

The second beast I got tonight to cover Ott was a bit of a mistake, one of those bids where you think some one will bid over you and then scream when they dont.

By my reckonings there are 9 very competitive teams.

Hadders has a bank roll, Avalon Jets stuffed up with Runciman but otherwise are very competitive, Geelong and the Cunning one are both greatly improved on last season and quite dangerous, Mangoloids record is incredible and MJP and Northcotes young players are improving greatly each week.

No disrespect to div II.2 but the season I was there I basically knew from about the halfway point of the season that I only had one team to beat where as this season you and I each have 8 teams to beat.

Tough draw for you in the cup with West Tigers basically having a full squad courtesy of an easy draw for the week and your Fab 4 already having played their quota of minutes.

I guess I have the option of tanking should I desire to after just 2 more wins

My team was incredibly lucky tonight, with Ott getting injured, if Urb hadn't sat on 5 fouls for as long as he did and instead got fouled out, Northcote would have run right over top of my team
