What about Porru for MVP? I know my team sucked this season, but he was pretty good. MVPs seem to be heavy rebounders and scorers so he should at least get some votes.

After I sold my other big man it was interesting to see Porru’s scoring output increase over the last two games of the season (48 and 53). I was training out of position and he was the only inside scoring option available. It may be a fun experiment next season to add a big man with high ID and rebounding and very little IS.

Porru is a nice player....I just think the MVP award is heavily influenced by team position.

Thanks, and no doubt about it, you are right. Hopefully he will get a few votes.

I did not get a chance to watch our game last night but judging by the score after the 3rd quarter, it was pretty close. Hopefully I scared you a little. :P Good luck the rest of the way.

All hail Otto Reedy! He is your rightfully... something.

He only has two more meaningful games with my club. So sad.

good luck to our conference finalists tonight.

this is the game that, for me, begins to produce big rewards for the season. the losers in tonight's games won't be responsible for next week's salaries, a savings of $450,000 to over $600,000, depending on the team. and the winners, of course, get at least two full house revenues next week. nice rewards for successful seasons.

it looks like the relegation games are free of drama, but at least all the teams involved will benefit from the Week Without Player's Pay.

now to return to playing trashball and dreaming of what might have been . . .

Bye Bye to the team TKI
Your Acker led a whackin'
That brought tears to Hawks' eyes
Your too-good team looked quite frisky and spry
And this'll be the week we say goodbye

(apologies to Don McLean)

congratulations on Quintanilla and you're right -- really weird voting.

i'd like to see someone take that data and deconstruct the formula for MVP voting.
