The 1st Atrocious 60s Championship came to an end and surprinsgly the crown went to the 19 year old Osterreich's Manuel Zehetgruber, with various atrocious exhibitions along the tournment. In the final match, Manuel, seed #49, broke the record, with an impressive PIR of minus 24! It included 0 pts, 6 turnovers and 19 missed field goals.
The second worst player goes to Han-Sub "HANGUK" Yang, another 19 year old, and the podium closes with the brazilian Ramiro Lima Barreto, aged 55. 4th and 5th place were Sören "LUXEMBOURG" Parker and Fernando "REP. DOMINICANA" Campero.

Hope you enjoyed the competition. I'll let you know soon the system for the second season.

The season 2 is coming and The Atrocious 60s Board of Directors have some news that would like to share with the community:

- As a result of the excellent work carried out in season 1, half of our communication team was hired by a rival company. So, it is possible that there are glitches in the launch of the pre-games.

- As a club concerned with social sustainability, it was decided never to fire players over 40 years old. Basketball has always been their livelihood, and it would not be right to throw them into unemployment at an advanced age.

- Our squad will be divided into 5 pots of 12 players, depending on the classification of the previous season. The first round games will be drawn, taking one player from each pot. In pot 5 will be the rookies of this season. Pot 1 players cannot be fired either.

Soon we will publish the list of the glorious Atrocious 60s players.
