Looking at Datz's team I would hardly say he is tanking. His starting 5 has a total combined salary over $230k which is decent enough in Div II and should see him avoid relegation at the very least. Sure enough he only has 1 worthy bench player but expect to see some purchases made before the season is out.

Generally when a team is tanking they cut their team to a minimum to allow maximum income for the following rebuild season. Datz if you are tanking you're doing it all wrong mate! lol

So you asked why 1.9 m for a reject. I guess after 2 weeks of no sleep i just had enough with the competion on the market. It wasn't a good idea to buy players at beginning of the season. i could have had 2 older guards for that price.

I think all your team really lacks is another bench player or two. I expect you will be able to win home games against each team above you except Meateors and up. I predict you should win your next two home games, you just had a tough start against the new teams at their home court. It will even out by end of season and I don't see why you can't finish 5th-6th and avoid relegation. Unless of course you are broke and have not intention of adding some depth. I doubt this is the case as you have already said you were looking on the trade market but prices were too high. Hang in there, it's only your 2nd season in Div II, this might not be your strongest season but it'll come good.

230K may not cut it, but it's not too far off my 300K starting 5 is second only to Niko's ridiculous 600K starting 5 in the league.

hmm, looks like you are in a much more dangerous zone than me. I didn't expect you to be in the red at all, i always believed you made money through those recent sales. Since the Wang is injured, you probably wasted money on a new Dr to help him recover sooner.

the wang has clearly plunged my team into a financial crisis - he better be worth it in the long run, hard to run a team of australian asians they seem to break too easily, i need to get nuygen back he was more reliable

in the last 2 months i have had 3 sales total 2 million and 2 buys total 1.2 million but i spent a lot of the rest on arena and staff - got level 6 trainer and 16k seats now so i have the great fun of looking at all the empty seats to cheer me up when i see wangs broken body

and for some reason i really thought this season was my time to get a good draft pick, rabidcamel did a splitj and totally tricked me into thinking it was a good draft pool

so for some reason i thought season 15 wouldnt be crap, everyone else gets good draft picks, i dont want much, just not stupidly tall, pathetic skills or hopeless potential

i have spent 20k on scouting every week from season 10

6 seasons x 14 weeks x 20k a week = $1,680,000 and all i want is a guy of the quality you can buy on the tl for 100k or less, marmots had me excited...the draft pool looked great...
