I don't agree with that assessment but I agree with the sentiment in that balanced training is perfectly fine. Maybe pumping OD is the only viable strategy for top teams.

My 19 year old has popped 3 times as much as my 23 year old in OD over the last 2 seasons (6 OD pops to 2). Additionally, the 23 year old's OD is very low (8) in comparison to his other primaries (15) and (14) and the 19 year old's OD is his highest skill (13). So the elastic effect isn't cooperating either.

he popped from medicore-proficient in 6wks for OD
he also popped from average-strong in 2wks in JS
Driving from awful-inept in 1wk

and secondary poppong in passing, ID
so thats 11 pops so far this season with a lvl 5 trainer so i reckon thats pretty good

i havent trained passing all season and it got a random pop as secondary training when i did handling for 1 week

im just saying it popped as a secondary with either bh,od,jr or 1n1 training as thats all ive trained this season

You were the only user that reported a pop in passing after training something else. I train guards since I started playing this and the only time I got a pop in passing was when I trained it. Are you absolutely sure that you didn't train passing instead of handling for example and got a double pop?
