I hope so. They were generally pretty ordinary last year and i just cant see Kanter and Favors stepping up to fill the void. we shall see.

ive been watching the 'best C, best PF, best Sf' series on NBA.com. bit of flashbacking - like how well did Pippen play when MJ left the first time. he was putting up lebron-ish numbers there for a while.

Pippen should be a top 50 NBA all time player.

You always need a dynamic duo for dynasties. Jordan would never have done it alone.

Shaq needed Kobe, then Kobe needed Pau Gasol.
Robinson needed Duncan, then Duncan needed Parker and Ginobili.
Pierce needed Garnet and Ray Allen.
Hakeen Olajuwon need Robert Horry, in fact everyone needed Horry to build dynasty.

Only team that did it with no one was the Pistons. But they didnt build a dynasty.

I really thought they would keep one of Al Jeff or Millsap, but they let both go. And since you let both go for the full tank you might as well let Mo Williams go too. Salary floor... ohh yeahh...

I guess its a win win for them cos their young core gets to have 1 season of starting and playing together and if they get Wiggins he can slot right into SF.

I think the are gonna play hayward at SF, and let Alex Burke play at SG. he is actually pretty good, been in the system now for 2 seasons, and i think they want him to take the next step.

Personally would have like to have seen MO stay, at least that way the new PG Burke can learn from someone. Gonna be annoying have a backcourt of two players named Burke though.

Pretty sure Pippen is one of the 50 g.o.a.t thing they did a few yrs bak ... could be or could be im imagining things

ohhh Alec Burks sucks yo... bench player at best.
Its Trey Burke who will make some noise.

@urmummas yeah maybe Pippen was named in the top 50 NBA players a few years ago.

i reckon it will be the other way around. i mean yer sure they are trusting their PG to a rookie, but they also ditched Randy Foye, such that Burks can play at SG. there are big raps on the young man.

but we shall wait n see.

Long season ahead for me following the Jazz.... pity my second team is Boston :(..... cant wait to see Jeff Green OWN that team now.

maybe ill follow Cleveland this season. i like Irving. cause he is australian LOL

Just picked up NBA2K14 today and installing it as I type this. I'm really excited, got my ps3 controller hooked up to my PC and ready to go! will post back with first impressions.

Argh, I have it preordered at JB and I forgot that its out.

did you get the "bonus" King James stuff for pre-ordering? I'll pick mine up tomorrow. but not that sure when I'll have time to get right into it.... keen to hear what you think also
