I just want to immortalise this forever. Right now in the 3rd quarter of the PL game, I youdbig, coach of the Chelsea Seagulls, tanking team with my most expensive player injured am beating the best team in Australia - Black Label Society! History in the making. Sure I will colapse in the 4th but it is exciting.

I think I posted at the perfect time! Yes in the end no surprise I was destroyed and the much better team won. However I was very impressed that Sperbert was able to hit 51 on a respectable shooting percentage against the best team in Australia. He and Holowka hit 70 points while the rest of the team combined hit 12!

I would also like to make three notes on the tipping contest. First very well done by Skyhook and Bansy. Second look who is winning. Thind look at who is coming last!

League ladders updated.

Federation Standings Season Seven Week One

Points Federation

184 Kevin
173 Sharks
162 Oil Tankers
147 Calamari

Obviously ladders are already volitile early in seasons and look at the way Kevin has suddenly lept ahead of the Sharks. The Oil Tankers remain mediocre and the Calamari remain atrocious but Kevin are looking like the team to beat after this week and a great chance to repeat their season six championship. It must be their great organisation, leadership and active Federation. Well done Kevin!

With 18 seconds to go Chumunga have a 1 point lead.
4 0:18 101 — 100 M. Mottram (A) gets off a great pass to A. Rooney (A). A. Rooney (A) attempts a baseline jumper. Scored.
4 0:18 101 — 100 A. Rooney (A) is on fire! that's 5 in a row!
4 0:03 101 — 100 F. Masters (H) is forced to take a very long three pointer, guarded closely by M. Mottram (A). Shot missed.
4 0:03 101 — 100 N. Cubby (H) grabs the offensive rebound.
4 0:00 101 — 100 G. Tidwell (H) tries a driving layup over A. Rooney (A). Shot blocked.
4 0:00 101 — 100 End of period.
So Rooney a 6'0" PG hits five in a row and then blocks the shot at the buzzer to give Koop a 1 point win. Who said he is lucky?
3 Alfred Rooney Koopasaurus 23 PTS 8 AST and his 4th block for the entire season!

With Wazza on the bench during that entire final 18 secs (stoopid coach), someone had to step up. But how can an abbl powerhouse coming 4th struggle so badly to beat a team from Div2? Luck was not with the Koopasaur but with Tremell for only losing by 1 point. =P
