Leeroy just lost whatever tiny respect he still had after the forefit fiasco.
I probably lost 3 months of my life when Civ came out and again when Civ II came out. My friends and I played it so obsessively that we could reach the moon by BC and could win starting on England and only being able to build cities on islands (no Europe, Americas, Africa etc...). We wrote scenarios and playtested them endlessly, edited our own sounds, scripts, units, techs etc. We even had our own rules for "cooperative" Civ where two people shared the same empire which was crazy fun. Obsessed!
