First of all I'd get you to help me with the selection of the squad. You will want the players in the future so you should at least have a say in who gets picked. You would also assist me in training tips for the coaches of the players picked and I would give you updates on their training progress.

I'd also advise you on what tactics I plan to play and ask for any advice.

Hope this answers your question properly :P

Well, namssor, of course a large factor in the world of Buzzerbeater is development.
I think that if you had a fair say in the selection process, as well as frequent discussions via BB-Mail, then we can improve the development and growth of players getting to age 22/23, and the future of our national team.

I also think that, to enhance the performance of the team, I would discuss with you ANY issues or queries I have about roster, gameplan or strengths of teams and such.

I think that you should know that I thought about using you as a guide and adviser for my managerial term even before registering.

I know you are a very accomplished manager in the top league in the world, so I would make sure to include you as a major part of my term as head coach.

Thanks,
tmacdaman.

I find it funny how you talk about developing NZ player when you obviously haven’t developed any NZ players at all. All your NZ players are under 5k and I doubt you have been training them at all!

Well, SammyD,

I never said I focus on developing my NZ players with my normal team, that's irrelevant to the U21 National Team.

I just said that I think development of the NZ players in the U21 team will be important, because guess what, mate, THEY'RE ALL KIWIS IN THAT TEAM!!!!!

I never once said MY NZ players are a development focus for me, just that if I got to be U21 manager, I would focus on the development of those players, because I HAVE TO AS THEY"RE ALL KIWIS.

I don't know how to stress it enough.

P.S I have two young european players who I train the most on because I believe it is the best for my team.

I know what you meant, I'm just calling you a hypocrite for saying how its important to develope our young players when you yourself dont train any NZ players.... Shows how much you really care for NZ's NT teams...

I understand where tmac is coming from though. I mean if you don't get good draft picks, you have to buy your young guys from the transfer list and they almost certainly won't be New Zealanders, and it doesn't make sense to handicap your team by buying weaker players just because of their nationality.

Yeah well my NZ players are not NEARLY good enough for the national scene and they never will be!

I just do what's best for the team, and that is develop the players who can use the training to their advantage, not a 19 year old kiwi player who has a VERY poor skillset.

Maybe spend more on scouting then? I finished 2nd on my side of the league last year but because I spent money on scouting I still managed to get a good draft (Even if he was my 2nd round pick) You can still get good draft players if you're league isn't that active and I know all div2 in NZ last season wasn't that active (I was looking at them every round due to the picks)
