Why is it possible to keep over 21 players in the U21 team? I think that it is a perfectly valid suggestion to remove players of 22 and older in U21.

Will players who are in the squad increase the merchandise sellings even if they did not play an U21 game during last week? If so I think that this should be changed as players outside matchday 12 should not reward money to their team in my opinion. This is a problem as some coaches picks their own players to fill out the squad and to earn more merchandise themselves.

The rules seem to indicate not:

So, if in a given week your player played in a national team game, fans from around the country will buy their jersey, typically in a quantity proportional to their salary.


I'm running an experiment this week, though. One of the players on my u21 team is injured. I'm hoping that his owner will tell me his merch revenue this week and next week, to see if there is any noticeable difference.
