dammit i was hoping for a better pick.....

i'm playing a scrimmage against the Big 8's 5th seed in a few days, will that affect my pick at all?

No its based on win/loss records after the regular season. Anything in the post season has no effect on the draft.

If your best scouted player is on top it's pure coincidence. Players get put in a random order whether they have been scouted or not.

ahhhh ok thanks, that way people who have gone inactive won't really draft the best players?

They could draft the good players if their randomly generated list has the better players near the top.
