More money = better? That should really be all the justification he needs. Who cares what happens to your opponent? Does your team do better if his training minutes are better?

Hey - I'll be looking for a scrimmage next week - I would love to throw a walk-over and screw you over. It is not like I care about what happens to your team.

So, point taken, he is up against a bot. My point is there are other ways to lose a game than throwing a walk-over, even against a bot team.

Yeah u could always TIE. play players out of position, use your scrubs or use tactics totally unsuited to your team. Just play a Centre at PG/SG and have the team run and gun lol.

Of course there are other ways, but against a bot you may still win with your worst guys on the worst positions...

But it may really be better to try and lose the game without a walkover. I guess you don't receive ticket revenue for a walkover, do you?
So losing the game in a "normal" way would give you 1/3 of the 2nd game's revenue AND 2/3 of the money for the 3rd match.
With a walkover you may only get cash for the third match.

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

Can it really work that way? Then you could deny a dominant team their game income, forcing them to sell players...

What do you mean? You make a walkover with the intention to deny the other guy the ticket income?

1) That would be really unfair and this is a game where you should treat others with respect...
2) you wuold cheat yourself. The other guy won't receive income but you won't do either
3) If the other would have to sell players just because of 1 or 2 matches without revenue, then he'd be a really bad manager imho...
4) What would be the benefit in it for you if you deny him the income? If it's in the playoff finals and you lose anyway, he's going to leave your league anyway, so you don't benefit if he has less money afterwards.

If you didn't mean that, sorry for this post ;-)

Yes i know it will never happen and it would be quite sad, but my point was that everyone in the leage could deny income for the dominant force during the whole season if there is no income from WO.

As stated before I play against a bot, so the opponents minutes are not a problem - if I played a human I would never think about losing intentionnaly in the finals.

I could play with my worst three players BUT I am quite sure I'd win this game because my motivation is really high and the lucky fans are not that bad at all - at least from what I experienced in the past. And winning the title with a lineup of weakazoids would not be a pleasant result imo.

I am 99% sure you would still lose, even with high enthusiasm. You are on the road plus you will play TIE (I assume). That negates any enthusiasm advantage you might have.

Your bottom 3 players are crap, too, possibly even worse than lucky fans. I assume you will also play them out of position. They will play the whole game while the bot team will have subs.

Just do the following and you will lose:

-playoff normal
-play only your worst 3 players and make sure you play them out of position. You could even pick up another crappy player who has really bad game shape.
-play a tactic that is completely unsuited to your roster. For example, if your lucky fans will be at PF and C, play a look inside.

Bots may be crappy but they still win games, especially against crappy humans.

He wouldn't be allowed to play in the match anymore so our friend has to play with the guys he already has.
