One thing we are considering strongly is a transfer deadline after which players will be ineligible for the playoffs (or, more likely, a year-round rule that players must be on your team for two weeks before they can compete in either a cup or playoff game (all other games are fine). We are not implementing it this season because we want to make sure that there is a problem before we react to it, but that's the one curb on trading that we are likely to implement for next season.
