the guys are saying exactly the oposite. they dont want the prices to go up or meassures that drive prices up they want the prices to go down. and their idea will bring prices down.

I can show you numerous players that are being way over priced. some off these players have been on the market for months. teams dont really want to sell for a fair price, like some people said they are trying to make an unfair amount off profit.

in my opinion there are 2 reasons why this is wrong and killing the transfer market.

1.this is being done by the same players, over and over again. off course without fees they will keep doing this and at some point sell. cashing in big money and than spending it on the top top top players that are out there. taking out the majority off the money from the TL, because most off the money will be in the hands off these very few players.

2.like the guy mentioned that started this post. the people that arent doing this practise are people that are looking for and only can afford the 20 players or so from the 80 listed with a fair price. this means the price on these 20 will be driven up too. normally not a problem, but with 60 players listed with a too high transfer price this does cause a problem.

I do hope they will do something about this, because looking on the TL is a very unpleasant experience in BB. But I know as well, that this wont happen, because whole communities will complain and treaten to stop their supportership and because there are many more important things that need to be fixed, like always being logged out and the match viewer problems we have had thelast 3 game days...

To just go over my point a bit more. I wasn't referring to what they wanted I was saying what would be more likely to happen.

This measure wouldn't drive the prices down it will reduce the number of players on the transfer market, which from my experience drives the prices up.

If the BBs are going to consider a revised version of this it is more likely to be something that favours people starting bidding at a low price and punishing those who set a high price.

For example:

Team 1 posts Player 3 to the Transfer market at $500,000. Player 3 has a 97% sale profit.
Player 3 gets sold for $1,000,000

Team 2 posts Player 4 to the Transfer market at $0. Player 4 has a 97% sale profit
Player 4 gets sold for $1,000,000

If the sales profit percentage is used as an upfront tax instead of a final tax we would see the following:
Team 1 pays $15,000 tax
Team 2 pays $0 tax

Currently the teams would both pay $30,000

But yes this is starting to be a suggestion. So we should move this discussion to the Suggestion Forum

I don't get it.

The idea of this tax only refers to player that are not sold.
Therefore for your 2 examples, there would be no more tax than the 3% already existing.

On the contrary, if both would not be sold, there would be a tax :

- over the Player 3 (and why not only if the price is not btewwen the BB estimation. Right now, it would not be necssarily good because Bb estims are not everytime fair, but with this suggestion, prices would become more fair and BB-estims too).

- And not more tax for the player for 4 than the one already existing.

This is more à preventive tax than an executive tax, according to what I understood

oh it is still oppen, i though this thread got closed soon and reopened in the suggestion board ;)

So if it welcome here i will post the probelems i see with it, because it force people to list player under value which i wouldn't recommend(and i am sure the BB said that from time to time too).

Problem 1. This system will work in the prime time, but not for people whoare online during time with fewer online users.
To make a fair price through a bidding war, you need at least 2 player who like to pay a fair price during prime time you normally find a bunch of people who are regulating a bunch of player - but in the "european" night you will often have player who runn out and who maybe have none or just one interest who like to pay a fair price. So the manager is forced to list him several times, or sell him under the value.

Problem 2. The bidding wars start few minutes before a player runs out, and the servers are unstable. I like to explain this point more sopecific, i liked to buy a cheap player last wednesday/thursday, and have also follewed manys of Free Agent and the auction normally running like that 10min before the auction end the price was often below the half of the price when the auction was finished(in my case at the beginn 500-700k end 1.4-2.1 Mio). This in combination with instable servers, who crushed the Transferlist several time lead to lots of player selled under value. If you sell a guy, and loose 1-2 Mio ebcause of it you get angry thats why also the BB say list the player for a price you like to sell him.

Problem 3. Bids from friends. if you have friends, you could pay less fee in listing the player for 0$ and let them make a early bid(a bit under value but not that much, that case 2 hurt you much)

Would that be a problem ?
Up until now, the problem still has been that players got paid too much, not the contrary

The perimeter of this tax is the most interesting part of it, for me ! :
It only concerns players with a 1rst bid too important and without outbid.

Problem 1 :
With thix tax, you'll have much often more than 1 player ready to pay the right price.
How about so much managers that juste can't afford to pay for a new good player because prices are much too important ?
How about managers that pay too much for average players ?

This is almost the definition of a period of crisis with a black market .

Problem 2 :
I don't get the point; if more players can be bought, there'll be less managers concentrating on those that have fair prices.
Therefore, servers would be more stable

problem 3 :
That' already the case. how would this tax change something in it ?

Anyway, I prefer prices that are a bit lower for those with a bid too important from the beginning, than a market that is too riskee in cost for so much managers, whether it be because of good players too expensive generally or with bad players with a 1rst bid that is just a trap.

Thx for the discussion

Dear all,
i left a suggestion on a new transfer scheme i thought of in the Suggestion Forum under the thread: New Transfer system.

I would value any constructive feedback on how we can improve the transfer system and whether my suggestion could be feasible.

Fine lets rip the players in asia, who act on a smaller market ;) Sounds fair.

And if managers get to much, report them. Else concentrate on the player, who are in a price area you liek to buy.

server problem aren't caused everytime through the transferlist. But if every player have long bidding wars, the trafic will raise not sink ;) The transfer search who get maybe a bit smaller(through fewer listed players), isn't that big if it programmed good.

And if you are victim of the server down, and you miss 1-2 Mio. i bet you are angry about the BB.

That' already the case. how would this tax change something in it ?

Actually you jsut profitate, that money is a bit earlier avaible the price for it is oftena smaller selling price(or at least the risk for it). With this system, you will get more money with a smaller risk, and the money is also avaible earlier for you - so it become real unfair and i don't now how you could make anything against it.

I think it is a great idea to tax players that aren't sold. the amount of tax should be a percentage of the starting price. That will completely discourage people that are bored so they just decide to transfer list one of their players at immense prices.

As the tool for knowing the price of market of your players doesn't work well, put on the market a your player with a crazy price,is a way as another to show it,and to understand what it could be his value on the market, for the proposal that other managers can make you through BB-mails
If there's something strange auction,yet there's a good(not perfect,for sure,but is quite good) system.It's called TPA

This idea for me doesn't have any sense
