Are you completely sure? i heard that live teams are promoted from div V if there are bots in div IV, but I also heard that teams that are on position to demote will demote anyway (if they lost against bots, they deserve it). I might be mistaken though. Forcing them to stay wouldnt make any sense, because then everyone would go for last in first 2-3 seasons of game, get the best trainees.

ay what do you mean if they lost again bots they Deserve it, I am losing to them on purpose but that doesnt mean i deserve to be in D.V plus it would take me a while to get upto D.III little Own Naismith

You won't be demoted. If anything, you might demote, but then when they do bot cleanup, promote back up to div IV, so you might not end up in the same league of div IV, but you will be in a different div IV league

I mean that even if you want to tank, you should go for 7th place and win relegation. Its not a big deal. I dont think its good when people throw games they could win (unless they have place they need secured). There are different tactics, but I cant imagine a game between two teams that both managers do their best to lose

You can easily make the playoffs if you wanted to (or don't want to, quite frankly). Um, are you purposefully going to tank and if so, what's the reason for it?

yes im trying to Tank, and the Reason is i may of Found the best Draftee( atleast best guard) he is 5 star potentail 5 star Rating and A+ grade plus he is 18 and 6'1 SG doesnt get much better than that plus he would fit right in with my training Plan for Next season

I'd do the same thing in your position, then (provided I could tank and take advantage of the draft position). Good luck.

To clarify, although Canada does indeed have a division V available, it's very unlikely it will be needed for a long time. The reason it was created is because in the past other countries have had a problem arise where their lowest division filled up at some point during the season which prevented any new signups from those countries. So now in Canada and many other countries a precautionary measure was taken to avoid that problem by adding another division... just in case.

As I write this there are only 334 active teams in division IV. Div IV has the capacity to hold 1024 teams. So unless the amount of Canadian users triple from now until the end of the season division V will be vacant once again next season. There will be no division IV teams that relegate to division V.

It makes sense to do that. Although it does make it quite easy to advance a few more rounds in the National Tournament and possibly get that all important National Tournament game during the All-Star Weekend. Though the first few NT games are usually quite boring.

Don't get me wrong though, it's nice to get a few gimme games. Especially for those who have just started playing Buzzerbeater.
