But I couldn't care less about the "Role" honestly.


I think roles would be useful to easily determine if your team was matched up against your opponent's usual starting lineup, a mix of starters and 2nd string, all 2nd string, or bench warmers. This way, one may more accurately measure true performance. In other words, if you win against their bench warmers, it's not as meaningful as winning against their usual starting lineup.

Far enough. But this will be useful once the role thing functions properly. As of now, I couldn't give a monkey about what role players play.

I don't know where you got that quote from but I sure didn't write it so why you pointing it towards me? =) I have nothing against roles and i think it is a good way to scout another teams roster. If it was updated that is.
