friednly matches doesn't mean that they are non-official. They are used for training, but they are still official.
Okay... Just going to have to agree to disagree with you there.
--The statistics your players put up in scrimmages
don't count. Your point guard throws together a 65 point game and a rating of 9.5*? Too bad, doesn't count whatsoever toward his career stats. None of it.
--In scrimmages, whether a team wins or loses has
no effect on thats team's record. You can win every single scrimmage you play but if you lose all your league games, you get relegated (and probably lose season ticket holders)
That sound pretty non-official to me. But then again, that's just
my opinion.
