my impression (I didn't check real numbers) is that the blocking team gets most of the rebounds, not the attacking team.

I don't know about the shotclock, but if it's in the NBA rules not to reset it, then yes that is something the BBs should reprogram.

I also support the idea that the blocker doesn't realy know where the ball ends up in at least 90% of the cases. It's hard enough blocking a shot, if he could direct it well, it would not be a rebound but a pass.
and if he can control it so well, why isn't he just rebounding it himself every time?

:)

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

However if the original shooting team's shot is blocked two things could happen. 1) shot is blocked into rim which should reset 2) how would it be determined if the blocking team had possession of the blocked shot if so and the shooting team recovered the clock should also reset.

If the ball hits the rim than it could just count as a typical missed shot, even if it may have been blocked partially. Almost all shots that are really blocked with emphasis miss the rim entirely. And the BB's could come up with some % easily enough to determine how often each team gets the ball afterwards.
