surprising to see some fo the names in the allstar game and the 3 point shoot out...

Couto didn't even make the final 2 for 3 point contest last season let alone win it! He's lucky I packed Eelis' bags early, but yeah Couto looks like the favourite this season.

I reckon my 2 Fins could have made the squad whether starter or backup if I didn't sell them off yesterday.

Yeah, definitely some shenanigans going on there.

First Couto somehow gets the 2nd finals spot even though it was an even 20/20 finish and then he somehow wins the finals with an even 24/24 finish. Rigged!

As for the allstar game itself. Big 8 wins again *yawn* Maybe one day Great 8, maybe one day :P

Haha yeah I understand he got through the first round for hitting more blue balls but dunno wtf went on in the last. Maybe an even up for it being so random and him not winning the last 5 when he should have! :p

Not really. A lot of Wazza's strength comes from his defensive flexibility and with defense reduced in the ASG, it sort of lessens those sort of players impact.

How is the coach rating worked out? I'm guessing it's a reflection of the trainers skill levels for the teams in that conference? If so i probably hurt our side by firing my coach the day before the allstar game!

Nah, its related to the points per 100 shots ratings we get in the normal league games. The coach rating used to be used for all games, but was replaced by the points per 100 ratings pretty early on. For some reason, the allstar game uses the old ratings system.

I don't mean that low points per 100 ratings in league games leads to lower points per 100 ratings in the all star game

What I mean is it is the same rating we see in league games I think, just expressed in a different form. i.e it is related to the quality of shot attempts a team takes.
