It really surprises me that some managers are so desperate to get the best trainer at the expense of spending 4 million, which is really really a lot!
Paying 4 million just to get a few more pops over several seasons just sounds absurd. Why couldn't he buy 2-3 great players instead!?

Well people have different objectives in BB. Some like to train others like to win leagues, some try to do both,...

I suppose some managers just want the best of the best.

What proof do you have that your trainer is netting you 1-2 pops per season?

none. this data was collected after reading forums. I do not know on which thread i read such comparisons. I have never had a coach under level 6.

Then how can you know that you're players are training faster then a L4 or L5 if you've never had one?
I've seen nothing to support what your claiming, everything points to there being very little difference in training speed.

Yes, my tracking results (which includes long periods of L6 compared to L4 and L5) indicate no noticeable difference in trainer level. A few others users that also track training over many seasons have indicated the same.
Admittedly 3-4 users is not a huge sample. But I've not seen anything in the forums supporting a higher level trainers, so this is why i asked you where your info comes from.
The cost, both acquisition and salary, of a level 6 or 7 trainer is high in comparison to a L4 or 5 with nothing supporting the benefit of that cost.
