I read somewhere that leaving your lineup blank and selecting "let coach decide" gives you the best chance of winning. Can someone confirm this?
I agree as well as dont agree with with this.the coach sets the best possible lineup in this case and this gives you the best option to utilize ur strengths to the max but it doesn't take into consideration the lineup or the tactics of ur opponene.like he will place the best possible PF of your squad as the PF starter.though this usually is beneficial for the team but in some cases you would want the best inside defender of ur team(whose skills are not good for PF) to play at PF coz ur opponent has a good PF but coach dosent consider this.
Supposing that I have a diverse set of players, would the coach decide on a different lineup if I chose an outside-orientated offense as opposed to an inside-orientated one?
the lineup will definately be changed coz as i said he would set the best possible lineup.for example if you choose an inside oriented offense then the coach will place the best passer guard of your team at PG while if you use an outside oriented offense then he might sacrifice some passing to get a better shooter at PG..
but anyhow setting up a blank lineup and selecting let coach decide will surely harm ur training plan...
