Only way to earn a butt load of free money is if you get lucky in the draft and get an 18yo with great skills and potential. They can be sold upwards of 2 million right off the bat

In a season I think you can get easily at least 1 million no matter the league (yes, no matter the league). Here's how.

1. Get 2 trainees, 1 position train them the whole season. Let it be 18 year olds. At the end of the season you can sell each of them for 300-400 k. Sometimes even more. I sold my trainee at early 19 for 760 k. I'm sure other managers have even better success stories.
2. Invest in your arena. Every penny you get, buy some seats. Correct the prices when certain seat type is selling over 90%. Construction completes and you have some money? Invest again. The whole season. At the end of the season your attendance will increase so much you'll increase ticket prices considerably. :)
3. Invest in scouting. 40 k. Yes, maximum. Especially if you're going to finish bottom of the league. If you get 1 or 2 draftees that are either with good starting skills or with high potential, you can sell them too and get some serious amounts of money. Sometimes an 18 year old gets sold for 3 million just because of his potential. So I think draft is really important.

Just make sure your weekly income is always positive. So next season you start hopefully with loads of cash. :) Let's not forget you get some money if you promote too. So if all goes as planned, say 2x500k for trainees, at least 500 for draftee, 300k for promoting and you have your arena built. This is pretty real expectation.

i do't agree so much with 3(i would tend to invest more to 20k investment cause the 4 scouting point is pretty expensiv), but the rest is good.

Even 16th pick can make 3 millions, you just need to scout as much as possible and aim for high potential :)

but there was also a lot of draft where i had participated without any of the player worth that much, and that was even at times with higer transfer prices. And a 550k pick, is pretty good but thats the minimum you need.

Build a big arena and have a team that has players with good secondary skills. Then you wont need as high salary as those mono skilled players to win. Has been my formula so far at least.
Cant say i got much money though atm. But im making a lot more money then typical net income for my league.

Absolutely! If a team replaces a 40k salary player with a 10k salary player, they are effectively making 30k more per week. A major component of making money is saving money.

A good way is to build up your arena first, do NOT immediately buy expensive players. That's what I did for 2 seasons, I mean I had lowsy players.I bought like one or two good players on my second season, and made some money which I used to expand my arena. Now it's my 2nd full season(started in the middle of season 16). In the beginning of this season I bought a few more good players for my league, and now I'm 12-0 for this season(going for 22-0 and hopefully relegate to III-division + making like 70k profit a week. Now I'm also getting 2x the average $ from attendance. I started somewhere in April, so basically it took me like 7 months to get on my feet. That's not a fast way to make "big bucks", but there's no fast way for that.
