i was mod in the german forum before, and had to admit that it was a pretty easy work. You normally don't have to read every upcoming post, but the normal mods are quite forum active so that some of them will catch nearly all insults(and if not, they also get reported).

I never did the LA work before, but especially in the beginning is it a lot of work and also during the season you had to work a lot in a short time, and the LA tool is quite tricky since i at least chated with LA while they are worked on a translation ... Especially in occasion when they work, on a text which isn't released yet(like new season announcement) on english since they had to translate the text in small parts without a context. So they overworked it often after the release.

i just can understand that the LA work more, which you stated in your start post a different way. I won't say that they didn't deserve it, but at least i wasn't angry that i don't get something for it(wouldn't be mad if they get it for free too)

Definitely german LAs don't deserve to have free supporter. In Deutsch translation they lost whole 2nd paragraph from original announcement "Welcome to Season 17 (Part 2)" on main page. I checked few other translations and all are good, even Deutsch (Osterreich) version. If it's so hard to translate this fragment You can simply copy and paste Osterreich translation. It shouldn't big problem - I don't think so differences between Deutsch (German) and Deutsch (Osterreich) languages are so huge.

Huh? You´re talking about what? Everything seems fine both with the tool as with the news.

Oh, Season 17

Here we go with the jolly life of a LA.

Instead of just telling someone via PM where and what is broken, people wait MONTHS to then rant in some public forum. You know, the way the LA tools work, we can only edit some of the news, and the news you´re mentioning just dropped out of the list of News I can access. You´re invited to come forward with issues like that immediately and straight via PM, once you do that and STILL no one reacts at all, I sign your claim that people ain´t doing there work.

On a side note - the very reason for the "mistake" in that season is that at the beginning of Season 17 a big change took place in the German Staff. Some former LA quit (the LA and in parts BB), an LA became GM, and a new LA was appointed to fill the hole (me). So while the two now-LAs (the other joined a season before me IIRC) were busy studying and understanding the LA Tool itself, and trying to get hold of what to do and when, the GMs were busy filling the holes. In the end, most work was done, but obviously something here and there got lost on the way.

We RELY on input BIG TIME. The tools really require some time and the more (and the more precise) input we get, the easier we can fix things and find mistakes (which can and will happen). I can assure you that no one makes mistakes out of lazyness or free will

I reported this "mistake" few times. And I think it isn't real mistake, only malice.

...

still spoiled...
