I'm doing an off-line DT thing this year, having a draft on Sunday that'll go for like 6 hours :P That should be interesting.

Anyone have any thoughts about who will do well and who will struggle? I think the Crows (my team) will improve greatly under a new coach, so I'd think we'll be about 5th or 6th. Collingwood will struggle and will finish out of the top 4, I think - in that case a new coach isn't a positive, and with their current injuries it'll really test their strength. St. Kilda's premiership window is shut and they won't challenge. Not sure who my smokey for the premiership is, since I think behind the Cats it's pretty wide open.

Re: the Crows - only a couple of years ago, with only a few different players, we were tipped to go top 4. Most of those guys who were 21-22 then are now 24-25. I think you'll be surprised. The biggest problems we had were a) we were too soft at the ball and b) we handballed too much. Sanderson has got rid of both, and I think you'll be very surprised - and this is from someone who has written us off for the last few years (I didn't think there was any way in hell we'd make finals over the past few seasons).

As for Collingwood - Didak, O'Brien, Macaffer, Johnson, Reid, all injured already, Krakouer gone, new coach at the helm... they're really going to struggle to go 2nd. Nathan Buckley is on a hiding to nothing, particularly after Eddie came out and said he expects a premiership. It'll be tough for them.

Hmm, guess I"ll have a go at some prediction, though it will be way off, there is always some team that surprises...

I reckon Geelong will slide a bit, though I've been saying that for the past couple of years and it hasn't happened, so...

Carlton will do much better than 10th, I'd put them around 3rd or 4th.

Saints and Bulldogs to fall a bit (more), this season I think. I also think Richmond will do relatively well, they've got to at some point don't they?

1. Hawthorn
2. Collingwood
3. West Coast
4. Carlton
5. Geelong
6. Fremantle
7. Richmond
8. Sydney
9. Roos
10. Adelaide
11. Melbourne
12. Saints
13. Essendon
14. Bulldogs
15. Gold Coast
16. Brisbane
17. Port
99. GWS

I think Fremantle and Richmond will be smokeys this year don't be suprised if Fremantle competes extremely well this year if they can stay away from the injuries that hurt them so much last couple of seasons I believe west coast may fall a bit as last season they seemed to be taken lightly and suprised teams at the beginning of the year. Geelong will just keep doing what they've doing and Hawthorne will be a real threat again this year

1. Hawthorn
2. Collingwood
3. Geelong
4. Carlton
5. Fremantle
6. Richmond
7. West coast
8. Sydney
9 Melbourne
10. Kangaroos
11. Saints
12. Essendon
13. Bulldogs
14. Adelaide
15. Gold coast
16. Brisbane
17. Port Adelaide
18. GWS

I'm a Dockers man, Brooksy and I think you called it well. My initial thoughts:

1. Geelong
2. Hawthorn
3. Collingwood
4. Sydney
5. Fremantle
6. Western Bulldogs
7. Essendon
8. West Coast
9. Carlton
10. St. Kilda
11. Brisbane
12. Adelaide
13. Melbourne
14. North Melbourne
15. Richmond
16. Port Adelaide
17. Gold Coast
18. GWS

Before Dockers came into league I was a huge Crows fan. Would love to see them finish higher than my above prediction

EDIT: Added North Melbourne

I'm a Crows fan and unless we have massive improvements in the midfield we won't get near the 8. We got killed in the clearances last season.
