If your not interested in taller guys its a waste doing the group demo. It would cost 10 points and only the bottom 3 would be scouted once. Would only cost 3 points to scout the bottom 3 individually.

The grey balls are for current skills and do mean nothing as u have read. When people say to count the 1 and 2 grey balls it is to decide whether to scout individually or to use the Group Demonstration. The Group Demo costs 10 points and scouts the 1 and 2 balls once. If there was 14 1 and 2 balls u wanted to scout individually it would cost 14 points so the group demo would be better.

Ok, now, bare with me while I continue to ask what I'm sure seems like silly questions.

Of the players I mentioned above, what are the chances that those 1 and 2 ball players are studs? What are the chances that those 1 and 2 ball players are better than the three, four, and five ball players I have listed above them?

Thanks very much. I promise, I'm not wasting your time. I'm studing this hard and I'm reading all the threads on this subject that I can find trying to understand this. I have spent $80 on 16 scouting points so far, and plan to spend $10K per week for the rest of this season in hopes of getting one trainee with high enough potential that I can make him a franchise player that will be with me for many years as I make it to higher levels of BB.

I went ahead and used up all of my scouting points to try and understand things better and it helped a lot.

Of the players I mentioned, after I gave them a first scout using one point each, I had one player with 5 balls, three players with four balls, and the others were three and two. I moved the three and twos to the very bottom because I have zero interest in them. I am correct to do that, right?

Of course I moved the five ball to the very top, and the three four balls next. I'm now going to continue to get scouting points each week and use a second scouting (2 points) on those five and four ball players. This is the right thing to do?

Thanks again.

Yeah just do the 4 and 5 balls. Even if 3 and below had high potential his skills would probably be too low to train or sell at a good price. So just use 8 points to scout those 4 players and save the rest.

Hey there, Clegend33. Now that you've got a better understanding I suggest you go back to the post where you listed all of those players and remove them immediately. By leaving them there you are giving other managers in your league free information; they won't have to spend as much as you've provided them with valuable initial insight. Good luck in your draft.
