Thanks for name recommendation +1

Another question; how would you (nominees) try to improve the team even more, and to keep playing at a extremely high level?
Another; How would you evaluate the new U21 players skills? How would you decide who to start....and how as the person above said (sorry ace) would you define and control the tactics so that no other team can guess your tactics......resulting (hopefully not) in a loss?

Good questions Sleet.

1)We have a great crop of guys coming in this season. I dont want to get into specifics of the type of offenses we would run in case and foreign managers are looking at this, but we have the chance to do big things again this season. I think it is very possible to go undefeated in Americas. As for callups, to start the season we would start with 9 players at most, but preferably 8. As the season goes on then, callups would of course be based upon the our opponents. It would be best to save call ups for the semifinals and finals though to make sure we have the best team for the most crucial times. All I will say about tactical is go with what we do best ;).

2)As for contact with managers, I think its a crucial part of the U21 and NT levels to be part of the process of the training of players. This doesn't mean I would be contacting everyone, since we have a great scouting program as it is. But I would be making sure that owners of all potential U21/NT players know that they have the support from me and can ask questions whenever they have them. I want to serve for the community and help them. As for the onsite crowd, I just started a thread on the offsite to generate ideas from everyone to get more community involvement. I feel we need to work on this as a community to have the biggest success in continuing getting everyone involved.

If magiker does not win after his outstanding performance over his 2 yrs. as U21 Coach America shoud be disgusted of themselves. (No Offense to any other candidates.) This election is over, and my vote goes to magiker. Thank You for running again.

Well first, each year brings a new batch of potential U21 players. Improvement is based upon scouting and how successful we are at helping the owners of our players train. We have a great user base and that is a key to having a successful team. However, as for this season's team, we will have one of the best, if not the best, U21 team. I dont want to talk about skills on the onsite, but we can talk about them on the offsite or on the chat if you have questions about that. Deciding the starters for each game can be tough. I know there were several times these past two seasons when Magiker was struggling on deciding the lineup and that is exactly how it would be for any coach. Starters will be based upon GS, tactic, opponent, DMI.

Whether someone can guess our tactics or not doesnt really mean much. We ran all LI this past year and no team could beat us. It isnt a question about what different tactic can we use to surprise our opponent to beat them, but more of what is our best option and run with it. If you go with your bread and butter you will be tough to beat regardless.

are you running for Canada or USA. Don't do USA. Already competitive, Canada is easier.....someday I'll probably run for either Mexico or Canada.............USA if I know I can win it..........
