wouldn't that be a 2 season long event? or will it involve "Groups" based on WR? like are you meaning this:

Group/Tornament A: 5000+ Rank (if we are basing it of the largest Cournty's Cup standards)
B: around 11k
C arounf 16k
D around 22k
E around 27k rank
F around 32k rank+
G(if necessary ? ) the rest of the active teams.

Right now I'd be hovering around D/E if we were to start a tounrament of ranks.....it would be good getting people from other countries.....

If we wanted to invlove as much of the community as possible we could do tiered tournaments.

Tier 1 - B3
Tier 2 - Next 4096 teams not in B3
Tier 3 - Next 4096 teams not in Tier2 tournament or B3
Tier 4 - Next 4096 teams not in Tier3 tournament or Tier2 tournament or B3
and so on and so on, and then fill out the last tier with bots if necessary. Then have an extra tier or two just incase BB receives an influx of managers. Or just stop at somewhere around 40000 managers(lower preferrably) just so that lots of manaagers signing up has no impact since they wouldbt be ranked that high anyways. The rankings would be the rankings used right after the offseason update.

Their could be a cash incentive every game like cup games, but something cheap like 15k a win until the QFs. Then winning the tournament can net you x amount of money which would stay constant throughout every tier and not be too much(something like 150k), dont wanna feed the top teams too much. Then if you win a Tier 4 tournament for example you would receive:
150k, A spot in the Tier 3 Tournament next season(even if not qualified for it) and maybe like a 1 month trail supporter. Or maybe 3 months so that they can actually join a PL.

This could make Wednesday kind of busy as well though and could take a lot of work to implement, but it would add another game that doesnt have too much impact beyond some chump change here or there and can incorporate all of the BB world.

You definitely have the perfect idea in my mind!!! :)

I'm guessing that, having too many game days (for a lot of teams) is going to kill the servers.

Yea thats why I would be in favour of maybe just a tournament for the top 4196 teams not in B3 versus every team in BB.

I like this idea too... but I think you meant 4092 (2^12) right?

They would... Unless they arent ranked in the top 4096 teams.
