i actually like having a player with already good secondary skills. because it could be so hard playing him in other positions and not getting more pops because of his height. meanwhile, if you train him in inside skills, with that height and 1-3 skills, i wouldn't be surprised if there would be double pops per week. its my opinion only, though.

Tall PGs and short Centers are really great trainees because skills for their height train fast, so it's not a big deal if they start low, while they are having great secondary skills. We also have a HoF this season with 193 cm and IS, ID and RB at Respectable. If someone will take their time and train him correctly, he'll become a great SG (he started with PA 1).

Seeing as PA for shorties trains really fast + you already had a nice elastic effect going, he probably had multiple consecutive pops in PA.

After you scout the player for 1 point, you need to spend additional two points for an interview.

When I want to find the best 18y old in a draft and I have at least 40-45 points available, first I do the scouting combine and then spend 1 point on all interesting 18y olds (by height). When I find 4 and 5 ball players, I interview them.

I scout 4 points per week but I can afford it so what is the chance of me drafting a 18 yr old or 19yr old player with All time great potential or hall of famer I know you rarely come across 18 yr old all time greats but I see a quite few 18 yr old Hall of Famers I really just want to draft 1 or the other and sell for $ 1,000,000 and build my arena. But yeah what the chance of me finding a all time great or hall of famer in my draft choice. I will most likely have the #1 or #2 pick in the draft and other players only spend 5k per week on scouting to save money so im sure my 2nd pick will be worth more than the other persons 1st pick

Last thing how do I know what the players potential is? like what do i click to reveal how many balls his potential is.

You will have a good chance of finding the best player in the draft. But the best player could be a Superstar.

You click "interview" next to his stats.

Hall of Famers are not in each draft; and even if they are, not all of them are worth 1M. So a chance of getting one is really slim. Also you paying 10k per draft point (40.000 / 4 points = 10.000), which is the double of 10.000 for 2 points (5k per draft point). In your place I'd rather pay 10k/week and get same amount of points in two seasons and the other money I saved put into my arena, like guy above me said. Why?

Even if you get a HoF (very unlikely) and sell it for 1M (even more unlikely), you just invested 560k (40k x 14 weeks) and have 530k of surplus, while your arena is the same and you are losing money because you can't offer seats to people that want to watch your game.

This advice comes from someone who tried to do the same twice, so don't repeat my mistake Also I'm a U21 manager now and I get to see how little HoFers are each season drafted. This season, there were ten out of 550 teams, which means ten out of 1.650 players. Do you really want to take those chances?
