I was being sarcastic.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Look man. Where you said they should trade for some picks. iF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, this years draft wont be that good. Last year there was Gilchreast, Davis, Rivers, and many other great stars. But this year will not be the same.

I dont think any GM in the NBA would trade a first round pick for an expensive, injury prone guy with one or two years left in his career.

First round picks are just too valuable in the NBA.

O.o are you kidding me? There were not that many great players in last years draft. I personally don't even think rivers is very good. There were a lot of decent players but no amazing players. Also I highly doubt you watch college basketball enough to know, but there are A TON of great players this year that will be going to the draft.

Who are you referring to because neither pierce nor Garnett get hurt that much. And I disagree with you completely. I don't think you know what your talking about. The point in getting one of one two players is not to have a long lasting player for 5+ seasons. The point is for a team to give up a 20 something first round pick in order to trade for pierce or Garnett in order to make a championship run. What GM wouldn't trade a first round pick for a title? I think you fail to realize that first round picks are only really valuable if they are top 12 picks. Once you start getting into the 20th+ picks (which is what a playoff team would have), the picks don't matter that much if they are already a successful organization.

Maybe I'm just being a curmudgeon, but do we really need 5 NBA threads on the front page when we have a "NBA Season" thread?

Just sayin....there's no need to clog up BB-USA with threads when we already have one on the topic.

More like top 7 or 8 draft pick depending on the year i guess, but you are right after 20 they don't matter much.
