Ha! I deleted a post I'd written asking if you were drunk when you wrote this. But I didn't want to offend... Apparently I was right.
But if I catch your drift through the whiskey ;-), I think you might have an interesting idea. If the market had a hand in determining salaries in addition to transfer costs, then dominant tactics would shift, since which skills were comparatively cheap would always be in flux. I like the concept.
