I think our biggest areas of progress over the last two seasons were in continued player development. Obviously we've become much younger as a team, with many of our important players looking like they could see NT action for many seasons to come. Also with the help of Morwood and the U21 teams excellent work I think we're doing a better job at identifying promising candidates younger so hopefully more will develop.

And well obviously I'll just run Sharpling out with 4 defenders and give him the green light ;) But seriously I think that's one of the biggest positives of having a younger team right now, if we identify a major change that could give us advantage many of our best players would still have time to adapt at least slightly. Something I don't think a lot of nations our size have as an option, obviously Spain, Italy, and the US have whole potential teams coming up every year and could adapt quickly, but that's not a luxury we can afford.

To me it is fairly unfortunate that these GE changes are coming midseason, as they won't allow much testing(if we're still in the competition as I hope) but hopefully we can pool our considerable knowledge and quickly determine what the changes are and how they affect us.

Getting Poland and Italy in the group is a harsh deal and it would obviously be a miracle to qualify for the next round, but given the interesting way your fixture list has been drawn do you think you can spring a surprise or two?

How do you think you compare to the Fins and Swiss?

Ouch... I hadn't looked at the draw yet... Yeah, that squashes the whole next round idea. I'll get back to you on your question tomorrow, don't have time to do a real in depth scouting look right now. From what I remember off the top of my head I'd still put both the fins and swiss ahead of us, though I'd say we're close to the fins. And dang, not only a really tough group, but a tough draw too all the big games to start the season.

Though the Fin squad was very old if I recall correctly, so maybe we've caught them. The other 3 though, not quite yet :/

I understand you have already chosen your candidate but you don't have the right to tell us how to vote, even if some candidates are pretty weak for the moment.

Hey... that's a pretty good idea ;) What time are Englands games?

Also, a question I've never asked before, does the BB clock adjust to your time zone or did I just get lucky to be in the central time zone?
