Thanks. I added the part about the naysayers because in the past I have been ridiculed for making suggestions. This is a great great game, and I enjoy it very much. I am a paying player and have been one for years. I probably should not have said that because it just gives them something to talk about other than the issues I brought up, but that is water under the bridge as it were. Other changes I would propose are along the lines are
1. Trading. It is an integral part of the real game and should be part of this one, at least within a league.
2. And 1's. In BB as it is now there are more blocks than And 1's and really at no level of basketball is that true, and I have never understood why the and 1 is rare.
3. Making the national tournament more coherent. As it is it is ridiculously random and some teams make it to the 4th or 5th round playing bots of low level teams while other teams draw a monster in the 1st or 2nd round and that is a difference in the money situations.
4. Attendance is slanted so far to the negative. You can have a great team and take a 1 point loss to another great team and in terms of attendance it might as well be a 50 point loss to a bot.

these are just a few more. But it seems like I have nothing to say but negative things when in fact I reiterate that I love the game and only want to make it better, which is why I am a paying member. That having been said I think to keep me long term some issues need addressing. The two issues in my OP are my main ones. I think it the adjustment thing is the biggest complaint I have. Having been a player and a coach I can say unequivocally that the idea you are down by 15 or more at the half and make no adjustments in the 2nd half in terms of strategy is grossly unrealistic and frankly takes some of the fun out of the game.

Yeah they moved it for me. I always put my posts in the help section and let the BB admins move it as they see fit. BB does a good job of having good admins.

OK no problemo. I suppose I did know it needed to go in the suggestion thread, it was late and I was tired, my bad, thanks for putting it in the right place for me.

I agree with all your points and would love for them to be implemented, oh well. And don't get me wrong, I love this game too, so I'm sorry if I sounded too negative.

Good point, I've been thinking of getting supporter for some time now, probably going to in the coming months. I tried doing that supersonic credits thing but they gypped me and should've gotten more than 4000 credits (which is enough for one year of supporter) and only ended up with around 1600. You might say why not just actually pay for it but I'm a student in Toronto and that tends to be rather expensive, especially when I'm also trying to save up money to go to next year's world cup in brazil on the side (huge soccer/football fan). Anyway I don't know why I'm piling all this on you since you wouldn't care aha but yeah.

Also, just know that even with your ironic remarks one more person paying for supporter won't change the minds of whoever makes this game ;) they have to be willing to expand their horizons, and that has nothing to do with money.

But anyway, we are getting too off topic so I'll stop now.

I am not saying because someone suggests something it has to exist. But I am positive there have been a ton of good ideas thrown out there in the past 10+ seasons yet hardly anything drastic has changed. As to you finding pro's and con's for the other guys ideas, I get it, there are flaws, but again those are only some of the thousands ideas thrown out there. There are pro's and con's to everything. I respect Marin for being the lone developer though, did not know that.

No you didnt sound too negative. I just add that to appease the people who get so upset. lol. I would like to see them implement something thats for sure.

Good points.....I agree that the trading thing would probably be the hardest. I totally disagree about the Tournament thing and I really dont care how they do it in Europa, basketball is an American game and should be played with American rules and in America our tournaments make sense, as you just saw in the NCAA. But you also completely skipped my main point which is the STRATEGY change for 2nd half......I know you cant do everything, but I havent seen any changes in my years here. It's all good, Im not quitting or anything, just giving my TWO CENTS. ;)
