I dont think they are worth training. First is too old, too bad and second has lost a year already. Since you can only train such a small number of players, I wouldnt spend any time with them. If you cant get anything better, keep the second.

Neither are worth training. Wait until after the draft in a couple of weeks and the market will be flooded with cheap 18 year old's with decent potential. Buy 2-3 of them.

I just started this game a few weeks ago, so I had no clue...
first one is already in my roster and second I bought recently.

too old is too bad, but it's nice to know.
if they aren't worth training, i'm gonna train other 3 C's at the age of 18s.

I would recommend you starting out with star or allstar potential players.

I disagree. You can find decent trainees with Perennial AS and Superstar potential for under $10,000 if you're patient. If you're going to keep them or sell them, either way you might as well have someone with the potential to get their salary to $50K or more.

I think it depends a bit on how much time you have to shop for trainees and how much effort you put into learning the game straight away. If you're not high on both, training a Star or Allstar with great starting skills can be a good way to get a hang of it without spending too much time and effort, and be able to get a decent starter and backup for later. If you can get a PAS for a low price like that, that's great. Main thing is that he shouldn't spend too much money on a trainee that he's not going to train properly (unless he wants to dive into the game with a mentor quickly).
