if i scout my draftee and find he is only bench warmer potential surely if i list him he wont come with that information??

i would hope not.

you would have to do your homework on him before deciding whether to buy.. i have paid for that information so why should everyone else get it for free?

i wouldve thought that its a case of buyer assumes the risk...

On the other hand, if you scout an All-Star and you plan to sell him, you would surely want the potential displayed, no? I am pretty sure potentials will be visible on the transfer market, and this is the proper way to do it.

I imagine one will be able to measure the player (i.e. see exact height) with a second scouting.

Though, it would be useful to have a range on the first scouting, for example: short (5'9-6'3), average(6'4-6'10), and tall (6'11-7'5). This is a reasonable approximation, and is a thing a scout can discern while watching a game.

When do we get to see our drafr lists?

After the last game of the season. I am not sure exactly when. But think Sunday-Monday.

How is this going to work on the 'player profile' page?

Will there be a new item called 'potential' which is information that is treated a similar way to experience? (ie always viewable by the owner & only to others when the player becomes listed)

Because it would suck if you are searching the market for potential trainees & have no idea whether they are potentially a legend or a bench warmer.

There will be a "low" limit potential (strong for example) or is possible to see some drafted players with potential lvl 20?

If this potential level is too low soon on the market we will see a lot of bad players

This idea is not bad I've still to understand better the impact on the teams and on the market. I would prefer to put a "talent" instead of potential, it means that a talented 18 years old drafted can grow more quickly than others. This is a suggestion for the future as I suggest zero/one/two/three time per season a random pop in a skill that you don't train depending on your average coach level. Coming back to the potential it's also important to know the difference between before max lvl and after max lvl, if the players will need one week more to have a pop this is imho a good news (it's similar to my talent suggestion), if these players will have a pop one time every 10 weeks, I don't like this news
