Valid points, I'm not offended. Last season's change in draft order was unannounced too. This season we did the same thing which I regret. We should have announced it.
The news post is going to be revealed very soon. It is never the first thing of the new season as it should be, and again, one of my regrets. This is mostly due to the fact that the offseason is such a time consuming thing and the newspost of such importance we just cannot rush it. Hopefully, we can improve on that in the upcoming seasons.
We hope that the changes were implementing aren't going to affect most teams too much, so the fact that the newspost (and the accompanying changes and features) is late shouldn't be too bad. I might be wrong, of course.
