I think you would have won even playing TIE (you) v CT (him)...bb stats for the game were 124 to 96, despite you getting GDP wrong, and presumably that's just too big a difference provided you have reasonable outside defence in your 1-3 spots.

to be honest, forgot to CT you, but I am sure it wouldnt have mattered in the end

with regards to scouting my team, what i ment is, that you would be able to see that I only have 2 players off note in my team. Yes, they are good players, but they are not the top payers, and yes they are NT players, but NT players in small countries. They do not have huge salaries. They maybe can score a few points outside and they can pass. But none off the other players can score and my 2 NT players cant rebound, score inside, defend inside etc. so an inside offence against my team and they are useless... You would have won in 99% off the cases, knowing this and you have enough knowledge that you know that. Next time give your team and yourself more credit :)

with regards to the forums, I am pretty sure that I have mentioned that I started rebuilding and sold almost all my players. I am planning to go down to div III and try something new. Not sure it will work, what i have planned, but lets wait and see what happens.

For now, I kept the two NT players, because they play almost every game as long as I keep the GS up. I am below the leagues salary limit and the extra income from the NT players is nice.

I wish you good luck in the tournament and lets see how many more EBBL teams you will kick out this season :)

Congrats on your win Carolina.

Also, well done to the Droxford Admirals for turning over Club Deportivo San Andres, the JR Knights who beat SuperHands. Regardless of lineups both noteworthy wins.

The result of the round though was undoubtedly new jersey2's win over Tatatallfella, using the rarely seen FCP.

All credit to them that the FCP + CT beat a team I thought was good enough to win a close game against them.

Losing that game has enormous ramifications for my B3 campaign - I really should have conceded a league game to make absolutely sure that I won it and maintained that extra 50k+ a week :-(

Now I have to try and win back-to-back EBBL titles to make it back to B3. Which is expensive.

A hearty well done to new jersey2. An ugly OT for me after what had been a decent game really. Arrogant of me to assume he wouldn't CT me perhaps but that's not something I'll be beating myself up over.

I guess we can call that revenge for our time in D3?

Yeah, I looked at the draw later. That stung a tad.
