I had the substitutions set to strictly follow depth chart and Bezzolato as a backup, yet he entered the game in 34. minute and only played for 2 minutes (despite being 2-2 from the floor and having 1 assist).

I assume this is a bug...

It was a relatively close game, so your coach tried to win it by pushing the starters a bit more. Also, I bet your starting SF has pretty high stamina, which enabled him to stay in the game longer. Therefore it was not a bug.

He does, but I was kinda relying on that 36-12 minute distribution, every other backup did get 11-14 minutes. So is that going to happen every time in a close game despite setting substitutions to "strictly follow depth chart"?

You'll just need to hope that he gets stamina drops sooner rather than later. It's one of the things that's annoying, that if you're trying to have a balanced team, higher stamina is a bad thing, and while you can avoid training it forever, if you buy someone with 7+ stamina it'll take many seasons for them to drop to an acceptably low value.

I hardly ever had this problem that they play to many minutes, while almost all my players have a high stamina.
Specially when your players are balanced and there is not much difference between de starters and back-ups, they play a lot of times the minutes you like.

Only in the dark, we succeed!

You're much luckier than I am. I used to have to manage my minutes for two of my big men who were almost identical and both had strong stamina by starting one in one game and the other in the second, because whichever one started would inevitably play 40 minutes or more.

But I mean is everyone sure that it's not a bug? Seriously, the players aren't that different in skills, and minute distribution of 46-2? What's a man to do in this situation...
