This is from rhyminsimon's training simulator found here: (229484.1). This training simulator is quite helpful tool when you are trying to better understand training.

This training simulator is definitely wrong.
I am training a 26, 25 and 24 yo at the moment and the speed is not as low as posted here.

Looks to me like an undifferentiated statistical approach without taking potential cap into account.
Sure most players will train very slow at 24 but thats because most players that are being trained are allstars and p. allstars and those are most likely near potential cap at 24.

im using the training simulator, and my 23 and 24 yr old guards ad SF are popping when the training simulator says they will. The only skills that are popping faster are IS, and 1 other skill that is 4 skill points below others (elastic effect, not error in the training simulator). Therefore, I believe the simulator is remarkably close to correct.

I did not say its completely wrong, just that i think the downward curve with age is too steep.

cool. Im saying i think its downward curve appears very accurate to my guards, to the point that ive worked out what sublevels my players are, and when it says im going from 0.95-1.05 ie a pop, it is very often correct.

Interesting, i will keep an eye on the training speed of my players and check if they continue to pop at a speed that would calculate with those numbers to more than 1 pop every week for an 18 yo.
