Is it a good idea to run an offense with two power forwards? What would I use, Run-n-Gun?

With two power forwards i really like to run Motion, but it really depends on the skills of your whole lineup

Run n Gun is a bonehead tactic. It be hard to build a team around that offense.

How often have you played Run n Gun? I know for a fact that their are 3 teams in my D.III league that can run that offense very efficiently, to the point where I had to buy guards with more OD.

I've played it only a couple times and didn't like that you take quick bad shots. I just haven't seen lots of top teams in world run it. One guy did manage To run it in B3 effectively. It's a popular tactic in BB I've noticed. If anyone can run it effectively more power to you. I love seeing teams use different tactics like II like our U21 team did this year. Btw you did a phenomenal job this year I'll be voting for you this year. I don't like one dimensional teams it ruins the fun. GDP seemed to add more fun to the game. This isn't my first go around in BB. I quit the game around season 22. I didn't really understand the game like I do now. I'm still no expert at this game lol. I'm gonna try to use different tactics and different things once I promote and get a nice arena.

That's why you build a team around Princeton and then play R&G when you're playing a team with weak defense, a couple of foul prone players, not a lot of guard depth or to keep your GDP from being too predictable. ;)

I heard you were the Princeton guru. I seem to shoot poorly sometimes and don't see as many inside shots as I would like. It seems like a jumpshot offense. What's your take on it?

It seems to take whatever shots you're not good at. ;)

Seriously, it seems to take a lot of threes and a pretty high number of midrange to long jumpers. There's not as much inside attack, though, to be sure - since my guys skew heavily toward driving compared to traditional big men, I see a lot of drives instead of inside shots, but that might be roster related rather than the tactic itself.

The thing that Princeton demands is good passing, driving, handling, and jump shot/jump range everywhere. Everywhere? Ev-er-y-where! If your center can't pass, and your PF has awful handling, you'll turn the ball over a ton.

Fixed the link for you.
I don't think he will make the U21 team, but if you decide to keep him he can be a solid player for your team.
Start off by getting a level 4(advanced) trainer if you haven't already. Then I would train Passing, 1on1 guards and Pressure. And basically just train those 3 skills for the next two seasons. 2 seasons from today you can start another thread asking for more advice :)
