Tragedy for any sports fan, regardless of what team you cheer for.

I hope he's able to recover...

Very "truly" sad. If you guys did not watch it. Google NBA Videos, and you'll find the Nba videos. I hope he is able to come before the starting of the season.

I can tell you right now he will not be able to. The season begins at the end of October (So a little under 3 months until the first games), and his injury was no 3 month injury. I suspect he will be out for at least half of this upcoming season if not all of it. To put it in perspective Kevin Ware returned to playing after his gruesome injury after about 8 months.

Paul George just snapped his leg in half.

Did anyone else see this? It was worse than the Kevin Ware leg break.

Which of course brings my inevitable reaction: is it hockey season yet?

(Of course, if you had told me during the mid to late 90s that all my time as a Pacer fan would be rewarded with as many NBA titles as I personally have won, while the Kings would actually not only become a real contender in the NHL but actually win two Cups, I would have taken it as soon as the shock wore off.)

Unfortunately, he is gonna be out for the whole season. I read that he broke his fibula or something like that. Sucks for USA basketball, sucks for Pacers fans, but most of all it sucks as a sports fan. He did, however, undergo surgery and they say it was successful. Hopefully he comes back even better in 2015. Thoughts and prayers go out to him.

The surgeries are always successful, no big surprise there.
