What skills take longer to pop? And what type of training improves OD?

Pressure, and train it until you get to about a 9 or 10 (at minimum, I might go up to at least 12 before I moved my focus onto another skill). At 6'7, OD takes a little longer to train and it is painful when you are trying to train OD at 23 or 24 years old and it takes 4 weeks to pop. If you want to break it up a bit, throw in a JR or One-On-One forwards.

And as far as the slowest skill to train, it depends on the player's height. Generally speaking, OD trains a bit slower than most skills, but it is also one of the best. However it will train faster than post skills for a player who is 6'0. Passing and Ball Handling train quite fast, regardless of height.

Focus on OD by training pressure, but you should do some one on one training to keep his handling at the same level. If you only train OD, it gets slowed down because of the elastic effect.

If you train an SF, you can train all skills. Best thing is to train pretty balanced because they use all skills and that way he is most salary efficient. You can adjust training for the offense/defense you want to run; I like my SF with high OD so I can run 3-2 zone. Then add some more IS for inside attacks or JR for outside attacks. Passing should end up above 9.

For some players (such as tall guards) JR can also be slow. For example, it took 2 weeks for my 6'8" guard to pop, if I remember correctly.
