I agree that Stajan does not have the best team, but he does have the best starting five. Combine that with his upset victory and I felt he warranted top spot. It may not last long but for this week Stajan can continue to enjoy being number one.

I agree the sale of Jerry could hurt Green Machines however it also opens up 180k in salary that he has to work with.

I'll be overtaken for that #1 spot right off the bat. Rankings are good though for now.

Yes, a tough schedule to start for you may result in dropping a spot. But you have been known to pull of unexpected wins.

BTW how is the hat eating video coming along?

I didn't forget, I'm just delaying. Would like to keep it as honest as possible, but wouldn't be super interested in messing up my insides. I won't cheat and eat, like, a paper hat either.

I'll counter with a filthy blended concoction of 1 can salmon, 1 cup cat food, 1 grapefruit. I've actually blended a can of salmon (without the other stuff) before in a fit of desperation or lack of time and I could taste every molecule even with my nose plugged. 100x more pungent and awful than non-blended. Most regrettable action I've had. If this is a no, then I'll probably delay a bit more but eventually give in. Meh.

For me, just suggesting that you would eat the cat food is good enough

I agree.

No need to ingest anything foul. Enjoy your victory, you earned it.

Sorry I am a bit late getting to these but here are the Power Rankings for the week of October 27th

The plan is to update them on a weekly basis based on results, transfers etc.

#1 The Rajan Stajans - Huge payroll, B3 contender and some convincing wins makes Stajan an easy choice for number 1.

#2 Moth Balls - This weeks biggest mover.

#3 Beanz Odyssey - A bit of a surprise to see this team at 3-0 but I will take it.

#4 Syndicalist BC - A horrible start to the season has seen this squad suffer two devastating loses. I expect that Syndicalist will have this team turned around and headed in the right direction soon.

#5 Lawrence Park Panthers - Mr. Burns appears to be missing in action, this could be the start of a downward spiral for LPP.

#6 Green Machines - The Green Machines are the sixth seed but I should have put them at number 5. Their drop in the standings is not based on their poor play but the solid play of those around them.

#7 Headless Thompson Gunners - Trending upwards are the Gunners. Nice results to start the season, lets see if he can keep it going.

#8 Superfreakys - This team has me confused, I think they should be better that both their ratings and results show. An early exit from the Cup will make the team budget tighter and may prevent them from making further transactions.

#9 Quebec Pugs The Pugs have a small bark at this point but with their current roster should remain in the mix for a playoff berth.

#10 Laval Giants The best of the first time Naismith teams to this point. The Giants are making noise with a small payroll, do they have enough resources to improve into a playoff seed?

#11 Canuckleheads Up a few spots are the Canuckleheads.

#12 The Hounds The Hounds have had a rough start to this season. Lets hope they can turn it around soon otherwise they will be at risk of heading back to division II.

#13 Team Dragon Naismith may not be as fierce as it once was but it still can be nasty. Tough results this week for the Dragons.

#14 Herman Griffins Definitely a solid roster, just not enough elite talent to rank higher. With a low payroll and high income the Griffins could be a threat.

#15 SG United This team is just no good. A severe lack of talent have many thinking they are destined for demotion.

#16 Pszczyna Team Training is the key. Wins, not so much!

Wow, up to 2. Annoyed that I did not know I could play blank last week (I guess I should pay more attention). Game shape is in shambles, I also thought that higher stamina players were supposed to be able to handle more minutes, so I tried it with two players, that was a mistake. I was looking forward to the changes being implemented.
Personally I would drop me a few spots, but I hope to be that high again in the future. Thanks again for doing this.

Thanks for doing the rankings, makes things a bit more interesting. And I had to double-check, but I'm still in the cup.
