I would say it depends on your competition. If your competition all plays inside offenses, then OD would be less important on your center and very high shot blocking would be the way to go. But if your competition plays more outside offenses, the OD would come more in handy getting steals and defending jumpers than blocking would.

SB...all the way.... Yer sure atrocious OD hurts but if u get a guy with high SB he is worth his weigh in gold.

With low OD ur C will only really get burnt where
- opposing C has good JS/JR
- you play M2M
- they play an offense where the C will shoot a lot of jumpers.

SB needs to be at a minimum of 13 to be really effective or not?

It's like all the other skills, imagine a playmaker with passage below 13 or a SG with OD below 13

They are build in order to stop inside teams on the NT, maybe their stats and my team stats can help you :)

very nice skillsetting. ID-SB have the ideal combo. the will play really well. especially with a 3-2 zone and good outside defenders.
I had a ID 18-SB 17 C for 7 seasons. He was a monster. 4,5 blks/game during his time at my team. I had several 300+ blks seasons as a team.

@all: I think there are some urban legends here. You don't need RB for a high def team. Why do you want to invest time in a expensive skill which is useless for this kind of team? Your team will block or alter 75-80% of all defended shots. it's just a matter of time until your players get the ball. and until than they can collect some blocks ;) it's more important to have good rebounders on the guards which support your bigs, than RB 1 guards and 16+ RB bigs. RB is a player vs player skill, not a team vs team skill... just to remind everyone on this

i played some games with a C with RB 1, well he gets at least 12 rebounds in these games... only because he was the center... so i think it's a team vs team
