No probably not. I had that player at 96-100% capped based on his skills with HOF potential so unless his MVP potential sublevel was very very high, then he wouldn't be able to reach that.

That would be a very intriguing build as well but I don't think 20 SBing would be possible along with those other skills, because the height needed to get to 12 JR and 15 OD would not suit the height needed to reach 15 REB and 20 SBing.

Well the possibility of bulding such a Player was not part of the question. And I think it should be possible, it would need a one of a kind rookie with starting skills of 7.99 Overall and low aggression.

As for your build, I still think the height problem factor would be too much to overcome even with 7.99 in many skills to start. To get 12 SBing pops on a 7' player takes long enough, but since your player would have to be in the 6'7"-6'8" range in my opinion to get the guard skills to what you suggested, it would take three times longer. If you ever find a player that's suitable I encourage you to go for it though, because he would be a beast!

SB trained quite fast on my C and he's 6'10''. He has a lot of it, way more than 12. I think the other trainee was at 12 after a season or so. I'd need to check my old spreadsheets to be sure as I sold him.

Not 12 (sensational). I'm talking about 12 pops to get up to 20 SBing like he was suggesting. That is also assuming that the trainee does start out with 7.99 in SBing. 6'10" is still very tall and would not work with the JR and OD training, even if he could get up to 20 SBing.

Yeah the closest thing is Nachtmahr's project, which, if I remember correctly is something like this:
x/x/17 14/x/14 x/17/17/17

I think I argued with him his actual trainee would fail on RB, but maybe he got there after all. This is may be doable with excellent starting skills and the right height. JS/IS will determine the salary and the capping. I'd rather have 14 DR than 14 HA on that kind of player, but I think his theory was that if you train HA instead of 1v1 you don't get pops in shooting, so the trainee remains salary efficient. I did train 1v1 guards on my trainee, as I can't see a big man with low IS, low JS and low DR having any chance of being decent at scoring. He will pass the ball and that's fine, but going 1-10 from the field is quite dangerous. Another trainee of mine did get 0 pp100 in R&G, maybe it was a bug but his scoring ability was horrendous.

I dismissed RB. OD, HA, PA, ID and SB got more training and are higher now. RB got still training through SB but I didn't train it as a stand alone skill.
