So you wouldn't mind starting the Season with 11 away games? As you have 11 home games after that, it'll be fine for you?

Everyone pays the same number of weeks of salary in the regular season.

That is true (well, in fact it isnt 100% but whatever), everyone has to pay salaries every week, but not everyone earns money from home games each week, t h a t is the point.

As the perosn above i've ended my 3 away game trip yesterday, now - after 1/3 of the season - i check the buzzer-manager. com website to see the season earnings of every team in my league. Check this out.

Superhelden $ 1 764 504
Munich Shamrocks $ 1 501 256
Chemnitz Supersonics $ 1 492 154
The Murdocks $ 1 452 440
KR Flight No. 12 $ 1 399 648
Nürnberg Falken $ 1 372 270
Wattn didde?! $ 1 364 119
BSR Berlin $ 1 300 321
SSV Waschbären Naumburg $ 1 251 115
Vampirfrösche $ 1 112 936
vitaminballers $ 1 102 680
Electro Heckert's Finest $ 1 087 023
BigAl and the HornyBallers $ 1 079 217
Potsdam Pugs $ 1 060 153
2 .Wohnkomplex $ 945 250
Olodum de Bahia $ 754 588

My average attendance is $ 335 593 while the league average is $ 313 646 - just to show off, that i'm not playing a bad season what would influence the numbers.

I had the exact same schedule last season, and i think the gap is a little over the top here. I had to sell my most expensive player in the 2nd week of the season because of these numbers, if i had a more balanced schedule (like many other league members) i still could have afford him.

Thats just 1 example.

And in the last eight games of the season, you will have five at home, while the teams who have had five home games already will have only three. But more importantly, you said you sold your most expensive player in the second week of the season because of this? The second week of the season (first full week) you had one home game. The third week (second full week) you had two home games. If that was the time you chose to sell your player, it wasn't because you couldn't afford him because of your schedule - it was either because you couldn't afford him in any scenario, or because you lost in the Cup.

Every season, there are 22 league games. You pay salary for 12 regular season weeks, with the revenues from 11 home games. Every season, some team in the blue conference has a three game road trip leading into interconference play. I had that from seasons 21 through season 25, so I understand completely. I just know that the extra money coming in late was also nice.

Hm, maybe my english isn't adequate enough to make my point clear, sorry for that guys.

Obviously I know that every team has 11 home games in a season, but that is not and was never the point. A average german 2nd division team pays 400k on salaries. Off season + 1st week away game = 2 times paying full salaries without a home game, which is the main source of income in this game.

After taht you have a 3 games away trip during your first 8 season matches. It's just hard to handle, not too hard but that wasn't the point also.

If every team has to deal with it it's all fine, if only a few teames have to deal with it, it's unfair. That was all i was trying to say. :-)

If i would be just average on the season earnings list i posted, i still could have afforded my player that i have to sell. I#m not crying about that, i'm still doing pretty ok this season, but it's just not equal opportuinties in my eyes. I dont mind having some more home games at the end of the season, when i messed up the first half of the season due to this "bad luck" - because a messed up start means major disadvantages in this game, from which you suffer a long time. Thats just how BB works.

Bye guys

I see your point, but it doesn't mean we need a change.

It's all about management. This time it's about financial management, so as long as you reserved certain amount of money, it doesn't matter whether it's an away game or a home game.

No, you didn't see my point. ;-)

If the schedule forces every manager to show off their "management skills", as you call it, it's fine. As long as only a few manager have to deal with this problem, it's unfair.

Only half the teams each Season have to deal with the first week away game, so half of the managers don't need to make a plan, how they can absorb the losses of the first 2 financial updates. By the way, during the off season you don't even know if you start away. So some managers can reinforce their rotation by buyin new players, others can't.

Managing your Team and own problems is good, this is part of the game, but all managers should have to deal with the same challenges.

I would agree that schedule is a bit of a problem. This season I had 5 away games in a row counting the cup.
It wasn't much of a problem for me. Maybe the cup games but its over now. But thr problem is that its not realistic. There is no team in the world ( not including NBA) that had 5 away games in a row

Financially, whether a cup game is home or away is irrelevant. And certainly, if you're implying that you should have had a home cup game just because you had three consecutive away games in the league, I'd be against that, as I think would 99% of the people here.

"Road trip." Not uncommon.

Hmmm, that makes me think of something.

We have a number of season ticket holders, right? Why not calculate an amout of money that each team gets at the start of the season based on that season ticket holders? Well, it shouldn't be too much, of course but that can help compensate long away trips and this will make that feature a little relevant and more "realistic"

Just an idea...

Yes i know its financialy irrelevant but i you play a better team, higher division team you eould have better chances if you play at home.
